ตามที่ได้เล่าไปเมื่อคราวก่อน (อ่านได้ที่ https://thestarseer.com/2019/10/15/editor-duangpichai/ ) ว่า จุดเริ่มต้นของการขอให้ อ.พลังวัชร์ เขียนหนังสือ รหัส นัย ดวงพิไชยสงคราม นั้น เริ่มต้นจากจดหมายเชิญชวนจากสมาคมผู้จัดพิมพ์ฯ ให้ส่งหนังสือไปร่วมจัดแสดงในธีม Thai Belief and Spirituality ในที่สุด หนังสือ รหัส นัย ดวงพิไชยสงคราม ก็ได้ไปจัดแสดงอย่างสมบูรณ์ในงาน Frankfurt Book Fair ที่นครแฟรงก์เฟิร์ต ประเทศเยอรมนี ระหว่าง 16-20 ตุลาคม 2562 เรียบร้อยแล้ว

 

Frankfurt Book Fair เป็นงานหนังสือที่ใหญ่และเก่าแก่ที่สุดในโลก งานนี้เริ่มจัดครั้งแรกเมื่อ 500 กว่าปีก่อน ในปี ค.ศ.1454 ซึ่งตอนนั้น กูเตนเบิร์ก เพิ่งประดิษฐ์เทคโนโลยีการพิมพ์ที่ใช้ตัวพิมพ์โลหะสำเร็จไม่กี่ปีก่อนหน้านั้นเอง พูดได้ว่า พอเริ่มมีการพิมพ์หนังสือ มีสำนักพิมพ์ขึ้น และงานหนังสือแฟรงก์เฟิร์ตก็ถือกำเนิดเพื่อเป็นศูนย์กลางตลาดค้าขายหนังสือขึ้นมาเลย งาน Frankfurt Book Fair ได้มีการจัดมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง มีเว้นช่วงบ้าง แต่ถือได้ว่า เป็นงานหนังสือที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดในโลกของจริง

ที่บอกว่า ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก นั้น ดูจากตัวเลขจำนวนผู้มาออกบูธกว่า 7,500 รายจากกว่า 100 ประเทศ, ผู้เข้าชมงานกว่า 285,000 คน, นักสื่อสารมวลชนที่มาร่วมงานกว่า 10,000 คน และมีกิจกรรม (events) ในงานกว่า 4,000 กิจกรรม แต่รูปแบบการจัดงานน้ันต่างจากงานสัปดาห์หนังสือในเมืองไทยมาก เพราะ แฟรงก์เฟิร์ตบุ๊คแฟร์ ไม่ได้เน้นการขายหนังสือให้คนทั่วไป แต่เป็นการพบปะของเหล่าสำนักพิมพ์จากทั่วโลกเพื่อมาซื้อขายลิขสิทธิ์หนังสือกัน

 

 

 

ดังนั้น เมื่อผลงานหนังสือเล่มแรกของสำนักพิมพ์คนมองฟ้า ได้ไปจัดแสดงในงาน Frankfurt Book Fair งานหนังสือที่ใหญ่และเก่าแก่ที่สุดในโลก จึงเป็นความภาคภูมิใจอย่างยิ่งของพวกเราสำนักพิมพ์คนมองฟ้า
